The Emergency Department at Riverside Community Hospital is dedicated to providing comprehensive, emergency and trauma care to a diverse population. The Emergency Department is a Level Two Trauma Center, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is available to all people in need. The Emergency Department provided care to more than 77,000 people in the year 2009.

As the largest ER in Riverside County at 50-beds, Riverside Community Hospital’s ED/Trauma Center is also the most efficient. With its Rapid Medical Evaluation® (RME) program, most patients can be seen within 15 minutes upon arrival.

At Riverside Community Hospital, all the ER physicians are board certified in Emergency Medicine, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of emergency care.

Riverside Community Hospital is also an Accredited Chest Pain Center, a Riverside County designated STEMI (ST-elevated myocardial infarction, heart attack) Receiving Center and is home to a comprehensive, highly skilled team of medical specialists available around the clock.
